British Airways: Perfect Day

Akwabaa!

Friday was the last day to enter a competition that British Airways have been running on their Facebook. Page called ‘Perfect day’. With an app in the App store and available on smart phones additionally you are able to map out your travel using GPS and tag photos to site. If you are trying to keep track of your travels then this is certainly a good app to have.
As you are soon to discover, I absolutely love to travel. No excuse needed if I am invited on a trip and work/commitments allow for it then 99% of the time you will find me there.  So I took to the competition like a duck in water.
With the world literally as your oyster the app gives you 6 ‘pins’ to map out 6 activities you would do in your chosen city on your perfect day. Having flown nearly every week and certainly every month last year I was honestly spoilt for choice.
I ended up choosing Accra, Ghana. Ghana being what I lovingly now refer to as my 3rd home having been twice and fallen completely in love with it.

ACCRA, GHANA

For years I have been mistaken for having come from Ghana, or told that I look like I am from there and curiously given the opportunity to go and grasped it with both hands.
A country that gets as hot in its summer months as the Caribbean. A city that has beaches, a great selection of night clubs, an array of dishes for you to try and the friendliest people that you could ever meet deserves a double thumbs up.

To put it simply I love it. It was with great difficulty that I narrowed down to just 6 ideal things to do in a day. I have included them below, plus a few pictures of my first trip there. Fall in love with Ghana too…
