| Hello Norway... I'm back! |
However, I haven't totally been honest with all of you. Or even with myself, because there are plenty, OK a few, things that I like and love about Norway. So with a impending trip back to Oslo I've thrown out my negativity of the past and listed below for you a couple of the things that I look forward to.
1. HOTDOGS!!!
I love them. Growing up whenever my mother asked me what I wanted to eat. My response was sausages! We had this fantastic little butchers nearby that made beef and tomato sausages from scratch - my childhood idea of a dream. You didn't need to add ANY ketchup at all and if the butchers hadn't closed down i'd probably travel back to Herts just to buy them. I could quite happily fly to Norway just for these hotdogs and try to eat as many as I can before I have to leave.

2. THE AIRPORT TRAIN
Odd i know, but when you are on a business trip you really do look for all of the things that make your trip go a little smoother and Flytoget is one of them. I rank this system above the Heathrow express. It efficient, on time and because of the platform barriers you don't have the ticket inspector bothering you mid journey when you are busily prepping for whatever work reason has placed you there.
3. VOSS
Ok so by now you think i'm bonkers. But Voss water is honestly the best I have had the pleasure of tasting. Now served in some of the finest restaurants in London this artesian water is crisp and refreshing. I confess I am a water snob and cannot drink water that carries any sort of taste or residue.
4. Fjords
Could anything be more beautiful then dining up on a mountain with a fjord just beneath you?!
